πŸšŒ **A Day in My Life – Bus Driver in Australia**

Life as a bus driver in Australia is not simple — but it is disciplined and respectful. Today, I want to take you through a typical day in my routine here in Perth.

☀️ **Morning – 5:15 AM**

I wake up at 5:15 in the morning. The alarm goes off, and sometimes I don’t feel like getting out of bed immediately — but I have to get up on time for duty.

I drink a glass of warm water, then take my blood pressure medicine. I do some light stretching to get my body active.

🍞 **Breakfast Time – 5:45 AM**

I keep my breakfast simple — brown bread with peanut butter, or sometimes a boiled egg. I don’t like driving with a full stomach.

🚌 **First Shift – 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM**

I take the bus out from the depot — by now I have memorized almost all the routes.

Passengers are mostly polite — saying “Good morning, driver!” is part of the culture here, which I really like.

Traffic in the morning is light, so the first shift goes smoothly.

☕ **Break Time – 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM**

After the first shift, it’s coffee time!

Sometimes I go home to rest, other times I relax in a park with coffee.

During this time, I also think about blog ideas or scroll through my phone.

πŸ•‘ **Second Shift – 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM**

The second shift is a bit more energetic — school kids, office goers, everyone is there.

Sometimes funny or emotional situations happen — a passenger forgets something, or someone says thank you and makes my day.

I have to follow GPS and the timetable the whole time. It can be a little stressful but manageable.

πŸŒ‡ **Dinner & Relax – 8:00 PM onwards**

After returning home, I have dinner — usually something light like roti with vegetables or soup.

I rest a bit, watch some TV, and sometimes write blog posts — like I am doing today! πŸ˜„

πŸ’¬ **My Thoughts**

Bus driving in Australia is a respectful job.

I like the system here — safety, valuing time, and the behavior of people is all positive.

This job teaches me patience and how to deal with the public — and every day brings a new experience.
